Greetings in God's Amazing Grace!

On the opening page of Salem's website you will find a picture of the Church. It is a beautiful picture of the Church. But it is not just any picture of Salem's Church . . . . .

like a picture of the "old" building. . . .
or a picture of our current building.

Pastor Neal Anthony

It is a picture of the Church standing in a circle, holding hands, preparing for a prayer at the beginning of table fellowship together at Ponca State Park. Indeed, by looking at that picture, you have caught us in the act of that which we can never get enough of: cultivating relationships of trust and empowerment through Jesus Christ forged by mutual prayer, worship and fellowship. You have caught us in the act of being Church. In other words, "Church" for the members of Salem Lutheran is a "verb", a manner of continually creating and renewing relationships both with Jesus Christ and one another. Buildings and sanctuaries are subordinated to the task of facilitating these relationships. Our relationships with the Word and one another are lifeblood of this "body of Christ."

So, whether you are gliding through Salem's website for the sake of curiosity, or seeking a congregation in which to be active in service to Christ and neighbor, know that you are always welcome to drop us a line or simply drop by.

  Faith + Hope + Love,

Rev. Neal J. Anthony, Ph.D. Pastor, Salem Lutheran
